Terms of service
The terms for using DirectoryPoint and this website.
Last updated: 3 November 2026, for DirectoryPoint 1.0. Draft for legal review.
1. Who these terms are with
These terms are between Apps 365 Ltd (company number 13955007, 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, United Kingdom, "we") and the organisation that uses DirectoryPoint ("you"). Apps 365 Ltd is a UK company and is not affiliated with apps365.com.
2. The service
DirectoryPoint is a SharePoint Framework solution: a SharePoint web part that is also a SharePoint full-page app, a Microsoft Teams tab and a Microsoft Teams personal app, with four Viva Connections dashboard cards in the same package. It shows a directory of your organisation's people, the external contacts and the AI agents you choose to list, using SharePoint lists on your own site. Only features that have been released are part of the service.
3. Evaluation and licences
Each site where DirectoryPoint is set up can use every feature for 14 days from set-up, free of charge and without a licence key. After that, without a licence key, DirectoryPoint is read-only: people can still search, browse and open profiles, and your lists stay in your tenant. Licences are annual, cover your Microsoft 365 tenant, are priced by the number of people DirectoryPoint lists and are sold in pounds sterling, excluding VAT, by Apps 365 Ltd. Published prices are on directorypoint.app; the price you pay is fixed for the licence year. If your organisation grows past its plan, nobody is hidden; we will ask you to move to the right plan at renewal.
4. Your responsibilities
- Decide who is listed and which details are shown, and tell your people how you use DirectoryPoint (DirectoryPoint includes text you can adapt).
- Keep your Microsoft 365 tenant, site permissions and any Microsoft Graph permissions you approve under your control. Anyone who can read DirectoryPoint's lists can read their rows, whatever DirectoryPoint chooses to show.
- Only list AI agents you are entitled to share, and make sure people have any licence an agent needs.
- Only list external contacts you have a reason to list, tell them (DirectoryPoint includes text you can adapt), keep their notes factual, and remove them when you no longer work with them.
- Tell your people that some of what they add can be read by anyone who can open the site: name recordings, shared collections, accepted kudos and the Who's Who scoreboard, for example.
- Make any approved correction to your directory yourself: DirectoryPoint passes approved change requests to your IT team and never changes your directory.
- Decide whether to keep the daily usage counts on, and the licence check-in, both of which a site owner can switch off.
- Use DirectoryPoint lawfully, and not to collect special category data.
5. Our responsibilities
We provide DirectoryPoint with reasonable skill and care, answer support requests as described on our support page, and keep the licence check-in limited to what our privacy notice describes.
6. Your data
Your directory data stays in your Microsoft 365 tenant and belongs to you. We do not claim any rights in it.
7. Other companies' services
DirectoryPoint runs on Microsoft 365, and agents you list may come from Microsoft or other companies. Their services are provided under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. A DirectoryPoint licence does not include any licence an agent needs.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability in any licence year is limited to the fees you paid for that year, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data or goodwill. DirectoryPoint helps you run a staff directory; it does not make you meet any law, standard or certification.
9. Ending
You can stop using DirectoryPoint at any time; licences are not refunded part way through a year unless the law requires it. When you stop, remove the app; DirectoryPoint's lists stay on your site until you delete them.
10. General
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top; the terms in force when your licence year starts apply to that year. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: info@apps365ltd.com.
